Outdoor Classes for Parents and Children
Forest Playgroup is an outdoor class for little ones and their parents or caregivers in the greater Los Angeles area. Families gather in a woodland area for a delightful weekly circle time in nature. Simple songs, nature walks, and family art projects offer a wholesome, engaging, and nurturing structure for early learners. Hands-on, meaningful work outside among new friends allows invaluable foundational learning to emerge through self- discovery.
Playgroup curriculum is informed by Waldorf Early Childhood Education and other whole-child learning theories and philosophies, all of which are of profound developmental value and remind of simpler times.
Open Classes Now Enrolling
Enrollment is limited per county guidelines, space is limited.
Classes are marked FULL when fully enrolled. Email for wait-list, drop-in opportunities.
There are two parent-child group options: Mixed-age 0-5 and Big Kid ages 3-6.
Session fees are $195 one child/$265 sibling.

Forest Playgroup meets at the Goldberg Woodland Area and/or the Bailey Canyon trailhead in the beautiful Sierra Madre. Classes are postponed in the case of rain or inclement weather.
