Whole-child and whole-parent programs in nature.
Forest Playgroups honor childhood as a powerfully formative force. Forest Playgroups are developmentally appropriate. A calming natural atmosphere offers a firm foundation which promotes education and social-emotional connection.
Children of all ages and abilities learn together. Children are appropriately challenged, not rushed, to grow.
Families enjoy a campfire style music class followed by arts & crafts. The class style is strongly influenced by Waldorf early childhood pedagogy. Projects are unique, engaging, and exciting for both children and adults alike.
Private parent consults are available via zoom to support individuals to experience a peaceful and happy home with fulfilled people of all ages. Consults are effective to gain footing and clarity. Meaningful goals and actions arise to honor individuals and the family so all may ultimately experience more happiness.

Our programs support good parenting &
whole-child development.

Playgroup LA offers outdoor play-based classes for toddlers and kids led by Miss Betsy!
Delightful circle times foster a rich early literacy experience.
A predictable, rhythmic, gentle structure creates smooth transitions and self-regulation, which are invaluable assets for life and academic success. Hands-on nature play and family crafts create nourishing sensory learning experiences, a necessity for early childhood.
Classes are mixed-age and informed by Waldorf Early Childhood Education as well as a multitude of developmental and emergent learning theories and curricula.
We hold classes outdoors throughout the greater Los Angeles area, including Pasadena, the San Gabriel Valley, Silver Lake, Sierra Madre, and Monrovia. They can also be held outside in private homes and learning centers.
