Parenting in Practice: A 9-Month Group Journey
Yes, this 2023 we will be journeying together for 9 months (sound familiar?), and each step of the Parenting in Practice journey is monthly:
Every month, parents are provided a live talk (via zoom) reviewing incredible developmental concepts, theory, philosophy, and pedagogy which are vetted to be the most fruitful and applicable to help support family life with ease.
Parents receive a workbook each month to promote understanding and observation of our own children, clarity of family values, and reflection on formative experiences.
Finally, parents participate in a monthly group talk and q+a. Often questions that one family has–no matter how great or small–provide information, unseen opportunities for growth, and positive support to all. Parents who embark on this journey are going to feel phenomenal support as well as invaluable access to a developmental child and family specialist.

Parenting Group: A Focus on Child and Family Development
More
than just a peaceful kid-free sojourn under the trees, Miss Betsy leads a
discussion on foundational topics of family and child development and offers a
well-rounded perspective.
Understanding
individual developmental needs as well as the developing family creates a new
warmth and a heightened quality of home and family dynamics. Discussions are
grounded in developmental theory, behavioral science, scholarly research, and
16 years of field experience. Playgroup families are committed to a rich and
enjoyable home-life experience. Parent picnics are a great value towards this
goal.
Parenting Picnics are for all parents of children of any age or ability.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
